Vibe Coding: A Fun Trend, But Real Businesses Still Need Real Developers

In the fast-evolving world of tech in 2025, "vibe coding" has burst onto the scene as an exciting way to build software. Coined by AI researcher Andrej Karpathy earlier this year, vibe coding essentially means letting go of traditional coding rigor and embracing AI to generate code based on natural language descriptions—or "vibes." It's like telling an AI, "Hey, build me an app that feels like a cozy coffee shop scheduler," and watching it spit out functional code. Tools from Google, IBM, and others have made this accessible, turning app development into something almost playful. But while vibe coding is revolutionizing prototyping and hobby projects, when it comes to real business applications or websites, nothing beats the expertise of professional developers. In this blog, we'll explore why, with a sharp focus on business needs and client satisfaction.

What Exactly Is Vibe Coding?

Vibe coding flips the script on traditional programming. Instead of meticulously writing lines of code, debugging, and optimizing, you describe your idea in plain English (or any natural language), and AI models like Gemini or custom LLMs handle the heavy lifting. It's been described as "AI-assisted software development" where you "fully give in to the vibes, embrace exponentials, and forget that the code even exists." Popularized in February 2025, it's gained traction through platforms like Google AI Studio, where you can generate entire apps from prompts.

The appeal is obvious: It's democratizing tech. Non-technical founders, marketers, or even artists can whip up a minimum viable product (MVP) without years of coding experience. Tools in this space range from code generators to full app builders, each with pros like speed and cons like potential unreliability. Reddit threads buzz with analogies—like hiring your "drunk uncle" to assemble a race car kit—highlighting its quirky, experimental nature.

The Allure for Businesses: Quick Wins and Innovation

For startups or small teams, vibe coding offers undeniable perks. Imagine a business owner ideating a client portal overnight without hiring a dev team. It's fast, cost-effective for proofs-of-concept, and fosters creativity. In a client-focused world, this means quicker iterations based on feedback—test an e-commerce feature, gather vibes from users, and refine.

It's no wonder Wikipedia lists it as a key AI trend of 2025, emphasizing its role in making development more intuitive. For businesses experimenting with new ideas, vibe coding lowers the barrier to entry, allowing focus on core value propositions rather than syntax errors.

Why Real Developers Are Essential for Serious Business Apps

But here's the reality check: Vibe coding shines in the sandbox, not the boardroom. When building apps or websites that handle real money, data, and client trust, you need the precision, foresight, and accountability that only experienced developers provide. Let's break it down, keeping business priorities and client needs front and center.

1. Security and Compliance: Protecting Your Business and Clients

AI-generated code can introduce subtle vulnerabilities—think unhandled edge cases or insecure API calls—that hackers love. For a business app dealing with sensitive client data (like financials or personal info), this is a non-starter. Real developers implement robust security protocols, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR or HIPAA. Clients expect their data to be safe; a vibe-coded app might "feel" right but crumble under a cyber attack, eroding trust and inviting lawsuits.

2. Scalability and Performance: Growing with Your Business

Vibe coding often produces code that's "good enough" for demos, but what happens when your user base explodes? Professional developers architect systems for scale—optimizing databases, load balancing, and cloud integration. A website built on vibes might crash during a sales spike, frustrating clients and costing revenue. Businesses need apps that evolve seamlessly, not ones that require a full rewrite when demand surges.

3. Customization and Integration: Tailored to Client Needs

Every business is unique, with specific workflows, legacy systems, and client demands. Vibe coding relies on generic prompts, often missing nuanced requirements like custom CRM integrations or industry-specific features. Real devs dive deep into business logic, collaborating with stakeholders to create solutions that truly solve pain points. For instance, a client-focused e-commerce site needs personalized user experiences; AI might approximate this, but a dev ensures it's spot-on, boosting satisfaction and loyalty.

4. Maintenance and Longevity: Ongoing Support for Real-World Use

Code isn't a one-and-done deal. Bugs emerge, tech updates happen, and client needs change. Vibe-coded apps can be black boxes—hard to debug or update without starting over. Developers, on the other hand, write maintainable, documented code with version control and testing frameworks. This means lower long-term costs for businesses and reliable service for clients, who won't tolerate downtime or glitches.

5. Human Insight: Understanding Business and Client Vibes (Ironically)

Paradoxically, vibe coding lacks the human "vibe" check. Developers aren't just coders; they're problem-solvers who translate vague business goals into tangible tech. They anticipate issues, optimize for user experience, and align with strategic objectives. Clients value this partnership—it's not just about the app, but about building a relationship where tech supports growth.

Conclusion: Embrace the Vibes, But Build with Pros

Vibe coding is a thrilling advancement, making tech more accessible and sparking innovation in 2025. It's perfect for brainstorming, rapid prototyping, or even side projects. But for real business applications and websites, where the stakes involve revenue, reputation, and client relationships, real developers are irreplaceable. They bring the expertise to turn vibes into viable, sustainable solutions.

If you're a business leader, experiment with vibe coding to ideate, but partner with skilled devs to execute. Your clients—and your bottom line—will thank you. What are your thoughts on vibe coding? Drop a comment below!

What is a Prop Firm and Why Traders Choose It

The world of trading can be exciting—but it’s also capital-intensive. Most traders face one major challenge: having enough capital to trade at a meaningful scale. That’s where proprietary trading firms, or prop firms, come in.

What is a Prop Firm?

A prop firm is a company that provides traders with capital to trade financial markets—stocks, forex, commodities, or cryptocurrencies—on behalf of the firm. In return, the firm takes a share of the profits generated by the trader. Essentially, prop firms empower skilled traders to scale their trading without risking their personal funds.

How Prop Firms Work

  • Most prop firms require traders to pass an evaluation, proving they can follow risk management rules, meet profit targets, and trade consistently.
  • Once approved, traders are allocated firm capital to trade. The size of the capital often depends on their performance during evaluation.
  • Traders earn a percentage of the profits they generate. The firm benefits as well, creating a .

Why Traders Choose Prop Firms

  1. Traders can trade bigger positions than their personal funds would allow.
  2. The firm’s capital is at risk, not the trader’s personal money.
  3. Prop firms often provide tools, dashboards, and analytics to monitor performance.

The Role of Technology

Modern prop firms leverage custom dashboards and automation to streamline operations. For example, real-time rule-checking engines integrated with MT5 ensure that traders follow evaluation rules automatically, reducing errors and providing instant feedback. This makes trading more transparent and fair, both for traders and firms.

In short, a prop firm is more than just a funding provider—it’s a platform that enables skilled traders to maximize their potential while managing risk effectively.

From Data to Decisions: How Real-Time Dashboards Transform Trading

Building Smarter Prop Firm Dashboards: How Real-Time Automation Transforms Trading Management

In today’s fast-paced trading world, proprietary trading firms face a unique set of challenges: managing multiple traders, monitoring performance, enforcing evaluation rules, and ensuring compliance—all in real-time. That’s where the right technology can make a world of difference.

I’ve recently been working on designing and developing custom dashboards for prop firms, tailored to each firm’s specific needs. These dashboards don’t just display trading data—they actively track performance metrics, enforce rules, and provide actionable insights.

One of the core solutions I built is a real-time rule-checking engine integrated with MT5. This system continuously syncs trading activity, evaluates it against predefined criteria like drawdown limits, profit targets, and risk management rules, and automatically flags any deviations. For prop firms, this means less manual monitoring, faster evaluations, and more reliable compliance.

Here’s what makes these dashboards a game-changer for firms and traders alike:

  • Instant access to MT5 trading data ensures that every decision is based on the latest activity.
  • No more spreadsheets or delayed evaluations—rules are checked automatically, reducing errors and saving time.
  • Every firm has unique needs. The dashboards are designed to reflect each firm’s processes, evaluation metrics, and reporting preferences.

The result? Prop firms can focus on growth and strategy, while traders get transparent, accurate, and instant feedback on their performance.

If you’re a prop firm looking to streamline your operations, automate rule enforcement, and enhance trader experience, there’s never been a better time to invest in a custom, real-time dashboard solution.

How to Land Your First Developer Job with Determination and Strategy 🚀

The journey to your first developer job can feel overwhelming. You’ve spent countless hours learning new languages, experimenting with frameworks, and perfecting your code. Yet, despite your efforts, the first job seems just out of reach. The rejections pile up, and you start to wonder if you’re good enough to make it in the industry.

But let me tell you this: You are capable. 💪 The road to your first developer job isn’t easy, but it’s entirely possible with the right mindset, strategy, and persistence. The key is to never stop moving forward. In this blog, I’ll share the strategies you need to not just survive but thrive in your job search and land that first role. 🌱

1.

The foundation of your career starts with understanding the basics. While it’s tempting to dive into fancy new technologies, employers want to know you’ve mastered the core concepts. If you don’t have a strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and version control (like Git), it’s like trying to build a house on shaky ground. 🏚️

But here’s the thing—mastering the basics doesn’t mean you have to be a perfectionist. Focus on building a strong foundation. Once you’ve got that, expand into frameworks and tools that excite you. Whether it’s React, Node.js, or Python, let your curiosity lead you forward. 🔄 Every small step adds up. 🌱

2.

Your potential employer doesn’t just want to hear about what you know—they want to see it in action. Building real-world projects shows you can apply your skills to solve problems. Whether it’s creating a simple to-do list app or a complex e-commerce platform, your projects are a reflection of your abilities. 💻

But don’t stop at just any project. Go above and beyond by showing ownership and taking responsibility for the whole process. Plan it, build it, and deploy it. 💪 Don’t worry about making it perfect—just show your ability to start something and finish it. That's the mindset employers want to see. 🔥

3.

Networking isn’t just a buzzword—it’s essential to landing your first job. The more people you know, the more doors open for you. Think about it: every connection you make is a potential opportunity. 🚪

Here’s how to network effectively:

  • : The tech world is full of like-minded people who want to support each other. Go to meetups, conferences, and online webinars. 🌍 You never know who might be your next mentor or even the person who gets you that first job.
  • : Open-source contributions are one of the best ways to show you’re serious. 💡 It’s proof that you know how to , write clean code, and work on real-world projects.
  • : These platforms are full of opportunities. Engage with industry leaders, join discussions, and share your work. —don’t just be a silent observer. 📢

4.

You’ve put in the work to build your skills and network—now it’s time to face the challenge of interviews. But here’s the good news: Interviews aren’t just about solving coding problems. They’re about showing your problem-solving abilities and demonstrating how you approach challenges.

Here’s how to get ready:

  • : Use platforms like , , and to practice coding challenges. 🧑‍💻 Get comfortable with common algorithms and data structures. These platforms can help you build confidence for the real thing.
  • : The more you practice, the more natural it will feel. Use platforms like or to get mock interviews with other developers. 🗣️ You’ll learn a lot just by practicing under real conditions.
  • : Technical interviews are tough, but remember—they want to see how you think. Take a deep breath, focus, and communicate clearly. ; it’s about showing your thought process. 💡

5.

Your resume and cover letter are your first chance to make an impression—don’t waste it. These documents should be clear, concise, and packed with evidence of your skills. Here’s how to make them stand out:

  • : Show what you’ve worked on. Include personal projects, freelance gigs, or any internships you’ve completed. 🏗️
  • : Don’t use a one-size-fits-all resume. Customize it for each role by matching the job description. Show that you’ve done your homework and understand what the employer needs. 📝
  • : Use numbers and results. For example, “Built a mobile app that increased user engagement by ” sounds way more impressive than just saying “Developed a mobile app.” 📊

6.

It’s easy to get discouraged, especially after facing rejection after rejection. But let me tell you this: Rejection is not a reflection of your abilities. Every developer has faced it, even the most successful ones. ✨

What separates those who succeed from those who give up is persistence. Keep applying, keep building, and keep learning. Take every rejection as an opportunity to improve. Ask for feedback after interviews and use it to sharpen your skills. Success isn’t immediate—it’s built over time.

7.

If you’re struggling to land a full-time role right away, consider internships or freelance work. These positions can provide hands-on experience and help you build a stronger portfolio. Internships can lead to full-time opportunities, and freelance work will help you build your credibility and client base. 💡

Solving Performance Bottlenecks in Next.js with SSR and ISR

As a full stack developer specializing in Next.js, I've encountered and resolved numerous challenges when building fast, scalable web applications. One of the most common issues I’ve faced is performance bottlenecks, particularly when handling dynamic content for large-scale websites. Slow page loads, high server response times, and excessive client-side rendering can frustrate users and hurt SEO rankings. In this blog, I’ll explore how I tackled these issues in my portfolio project—a blog platform—using Next.js’s Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) to create lightning-fast web experiences ⚡️.

Dynamic web applications, like blogs or e-commerce platforms, often rely on fetching fresh data from APIs or databases, which can lead to performance issues such as:

  • : Client-side rendering (CSR) can delay content display, especially on slow networks 🌐.
  • : Fetching data on every request with traditional SSR can overwhelm servers during traffic spikes ⚡️.
  • : Search engines may struggle to index content relying on client-side JavaScript 🤖.

In my recent portfolio project, a blog platform built with Next.js, these issues became significant hurdles. The blog needed to display dynamic posts fetched from MongoDB, support real-time comments, and handle thousands of daily visitors. Initially, using client-side fetching led to load times exceeding 3 seconds, and traditional SSR caused server strain during traffic peaks, impacting both user experience and scalability.

Next.js offers powerful rendering strategies to address these performance challenges. By leveraging Server-Side Rendering (SSR) for dynamic, user-specific content and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) for frequently updated but cacheable content, I was able to optimize my blog platform for speed and scalability. Here’s how I solved the problem, drawing on techniques I’ve refined in previous projects 🔧 (memory from April 15, 2025, on Next.js blog rendering):

The blog platform required real-time comments and user-specific data, such as personalized post recommendations, which needed to be fresh on every request.

Solution: Implementing SSR with getServerSideProps

I used Next.js’s getServerSideProps to fetch comment data and user preferences from MongoDB on the server for each request. This ensured the page was rendered with the latest data before being sent to the client.

To reduce database load, I implemented connection pooling in MongoDB and cached user session data in Redis.

Code Example:

export async function getServerSideProps(context) {
  const { postId } = context.params;
  const client = await MongoClient.connect(process.env.MONGODB_URI);
  const db = client.db();
  const post = await db.collection('posts').findOne({ _id: new ObjectId(postId) });
  const comments = await db.collection('comments').find({ postId }).toArray();
  client.close();
  return { props: { post, comments } };
}

Result: SSR reduced Time to First Byte (TTFB) to under 500ms for comment-heavy pages, and content was instantly available to users and search engines, boosting SEO 📈.

Blog posts, while occasionally updated, didn’t require real-time rendering for every visitor. Traditional SSG would have served stale content, and SSR for every post page was overkill, increasing server costs.

Solution: Using ISR with getStaticProps and revalidation

I used getStaticProps with a revalidate period (e.g., 60 seconds) to pre-render blog post pages at build time and regenerate them incrementally in the background when data changed.

This approach cached pages on Vercel’s edge network, serving static HTML for most requests while ensuring updates were reflected within a minute.

Code Example:

export async function getStaticProps({ params }) {
  const client = await MongoClient.connect(process.env.MONGODB_URI);
  const db = client.db();
  const post = await db.collection('posts').findOne({ slug: params.slug });
  client.close();
  return {
    props: { post },
    revalidate: 60, // Revalidate every 60 seconds
  };
}

export async function getStaticPaths() {
  const client = await MongoClient.connect(process.env.MONGODB_URI);
  const db = client.db();
  const posts = await db.collection('posts').find({}, { projection: { slug: 1 } }).toArray();
  client.close();
  return {
    paths: posts.map((post) => ({ params: { slug: post.slug } })),
    fallback: 'blocking',
  };
}

Result: ISR reduced server load by 80%, with most requests served from the edge cache. Page load times dropped to under 200ms, and the site scaled effortlessly to 10,000 daily visitors 🌍.

Even with SSR and ISR, client-side performance mattered for interactive features like comment submission forms.

Solution: Lightweight Rendering and Lazy Loading

I used react-markdown with remark-gfm for rendering blog post content, ensuring fast parsing of Markdown.

I implemented lazy loading for comments below the fold using IntersectionObserver, reducing initial JavaScript payload.

Optimized images with Next.js’s Image component, enabling automatic WebP conversion and responsive sizing.

Result: First Contentful Paint (FCP) improved to 1.2 seconds, and the frontend remained responsive even on low-end devices 🖥️.

To ensure sustained performance, I focused on deployment and monitoring.

Solution: Vercel and Performance Metrics

I deployed the app on Vercel, leveraging its automatic scaling and edge caching for ISR.

I used Vercel Analytics and AWS CloudWatch to monitor Core Web Vitals (e.g., LCP, FCP) and server response times, setting alerts for performance dips.

Result: The app achieved 99.9% uptime, with performance metrics consistently in the “green” for Core Web Vitals ✅.

This blog platform is a standout in my portfolio, showcasing my ability to solve performance issues with Next.js. Key features include:

  • : Powered by SSR for real-time interaction.
  • : Delivered via ISR for near-static performance with dynamic updates.
  • : Built with and for a sleek, animated experience 🎨.

The platform handles 10,000 daily visitors with average page load times under 200ms, earning a 95+ Lighthouse score for performance and SEO 🌟.

This project reinforced key principles for optimizing Next.js applications:

  • : Use SSR for user-specific data, ISR for frequently updated content, and SSG for static pages.
  • : Leverage edge caching and in-memory stores like Redis to reduce database strain.
  • : Track Core Web Vitals and server metrics to catch issues early.

Next.js’s hybrid rendering model—combining SSR, ISR, and SSG—allowed me to tailor performance optimizations to each part of the blog platform. As a full stack developer, I could fine-tune the entire stack, from MongoDB queries to Vercel’s edge network, ensuring a seamless experience. This project in my portfolio highlights my expertise in using Next.js to solve real-world performance challenges.

Performance bottlenecks can derail even the most well-designed web applications, but Next.js’s rendering strategies offer powerful solutions. By implementing SSR for dynamic content and ISR for cacheable pages, I transformed a sluggish blog platform into a high-performance, scalable showcase for my portfolio.

If you’re building a Next.js application and struggling with performance, explore SSR and ISR—they’re game-changers 🏅. Visit my portfolio to see this blog platform in action and discover other Next.js projects I’ve crafted! ✨
